AWOM is taking a break over XMAS & NY…but hang around!

Hello AWOMers & Merry Xmas,

Yes we are taking a break over Christmas and New Years…

Thanks to everyone that spread the WORD this year. Adelaide Word Of Mouth has grown a lot in 2011 and I will be excited to see it continue in 2012. Your support and referrals have made this one of the great business networks in Adelaide.

We appreciate your continued involvement and wish you and your families all the best for the coming year.  See you in 2012.

Warmest Regards

Rob & the AWOM team

November 2 Wrap-up – The Adelaide Zoo

Hello AWOMers!

The breakfast at the Adelaide Zoo on November 2, 2011 was a great success! Especially after the risk of  hangover cancellations from Melbourne Cup! A little different this time with the format being stripped right back to allow more time for members to network & chat, which was very well received.

A special thanks has to go to Di and Nicole from the Adelaide Zoo as well as Alicia and her team from Quality Catering.

The Zoo marks the first in unique AWOM venues designed to allow members the exclusivity of networking in more of a “Members Only” format. Our Cafe series of events are open to members and the general public, and our just-announced Pub series will cater to a more relaxed social / business environment; making the Zoo an important piece of our networking puzzle.

As the Wednesday Zoo event went so well, we have locked in this venue for future events that will soon appear on the AWOM calendar. This is a great opportunity for us to grow our member base as the Zoo can cater to our continued growth in a very flexible venue.

I look forward in seeing you at another AWOM event in the near future.

Next Event: AWOM Fortnightly Pub – Friday November 18

Its always great to finish the week with a few office drinks down at the pub, but how good would it be to not have to talk about work or the office politics?

Maybe you don’t even go to Friday night drinks because you ARE the office and only staff-member; and it’s never good to drink alone!

Then you will be happy to hear that Adelaide Word Of Mouth are now holding the AFP.

Whats the AFP?

The AWOM FORTNIGHTLY PUB

As a member of AWOM – Every Friday Fortnight starting from the 18th Nov 2011, you will have the opportunity between 5pm – 6:30 to catch up at an unique Adelaide Venue to meet AWOM members for end of the week drinks and a touch of networking before you head off for the weekend.

This is a great way to catch up between breakfast sessions and social media, and to experience some great Adelaide pubs & venues.

Events are FREE!

But Registration is ESSENTIAL so register now!

September 28 Wrap-up – The Coffee Barun

This mornings event at Coffee Barun was a great opportunity for networking, as well as putting another great SA cafe/business on the map for our members to use.

The Coffee Barun is one of Adelaide’s best micro coffee roasting shops, supplying product to cafe’s and restaurants all over Adelaide & South Australia.  The well suited venue provided some great networking in addition to “cupping”, an experience where the Jeff and the team at Coffee Barun took 15 of our members for the Coffee Industry’s version of wine tasting.

The lucky members got to taste test expesive coffee from all over the globe and take away some useful tips when purchasing coffee for your own home setup. Thankyou to Mark & the team for a truly memorable day.
